Hello All

Wow it’s mid year already. I had kind of thought that not doing Australian Idol this year would make the time go by slowly, but boy was I wrong.

Things have been busy as. The recording of the album I am unable to talk to you about just now, was a blast. Recording is still such a challenge and it’s not fleeting, its going to be there for ever, so with that in mind you strive and strive to make it your best work ever. It’s hard, but it keeps me honest as well as striving once again to be a better singer than the last release. (Ooops) I’m going on about something that is secret so I will change the subject.

Last month Deni and I did two shows up in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. We had a blast. We were received with open arms and amazingly loving hospitality. The gigs both went well, one was actually in Parliament House, the other was a public show at the Country Club. It was great to sing and hang out with Deni and to see all that we saw as well as being received by the Papua New Guineans so warmly.

We visited Kilakila Village where the locals sang and danced us in, elders spoke, and they appreciated our presence on that day. It really was one of those “wow” moments. Let me say again, Deni, my crew and I had a ball…..

I recently received an email from my manager, Peter Rix, and he sent me a plan for the rest of 2010 and 2011 and hopefully I am going to be coming your way in the not too distant future, so please keep your eyes open.

I hope that you and your families are all doing well and “getting by”. Please allow me this time to say thank you so much for coming out to my gigs, thank you for the love, and I love you back.
